تناول الكتاب في الوحدة الأولى التعريفات المختلفة لعلم الدعوة، وناقش الشبه حول تعريف الدعوة والرد عليها.
ثم تطرق إلى نشأة علم الدعوة، وصور منها عبر التاريخ، ثم إلى حكم الدعوة، والتحقيق العلمي في ذلك، وموضوعها، وأهميتها، وفضلها، وحاجة الناس إليها، وجاء ختام الوحدة بموضوع علم الدعوة وتحديد مصطلحات هذا العلم.
وفي الوحدة الثانية عرّف الدارس بمصادر الدعوة وأركانها، ثم بين في الوحدة الثالثة أساليب الدعوة التي يجب على الداعية الالتزام بها في حياته الدعوية قولاً وفعلاً، مع توضيح الفرق بين الأساليب والوسائل وأهمية استخدام كل منهما وضوابطهما وأنواع الأساليب الدعوية، سواء في القول أو في الفعل. وكذلك جلَّى للدارس الوسائل والطرائق والأساليب الثابتة منها والمستمرة، وبعض الجديد المتطور والتي على الداعي إلى الله تعالى أن يكون ملماً بفنونها، وأن يبذل جهده ووسعه في ابتكار كل وسيلة مشروعة ومتاحة يستطيع من خلالها أن يتواصل مع الآخرين لعرض الدعوة وبيانها وإقناع المخاطبين بها وبيان محاسنها وفوائدها على الفرد والمجتمع وعلى البشرية قاطبة في دنياها وأخراها، وبيان أن الوسائل والأساليب معابر وطرق للوصول إلى الأهداف المنشودة يستفيد منها الدعاة إلى الله للقيام بواجبهم.
وفي الوحدة الرابعة والتي جاءت بعنوان مشكلات وعقبات في طريق الدعوة، عرضنا في هذه الوحدة للمشكلات التي تواجه الدعوة والدعاة، وهي على قسمين: داخلية وأخرى خارجية، وهو المحور الأول الذي تناولته هذه الوحدة، وفيه التعرف على مفهوم هذه المشكلات بشيء من التوسع، ثم بيان كيفية حل هذه المشكلات والعقبات التي تعترض الدعوة والدعاة، وهو المحور الثاني من هذه الوحدة.

In the first unit, the book dealt with the different definitions of the science of da’wah, and discussed the similarities around the definition of da’wah and its response.
Then he touched on the emergence of the science of da’wah, and pictures of it throughout history, then to the rule of da’wah, the scientific investigation in that, its subject, its importance, its virtue, and the people’s need for it.
In the second unit, the student is introduced to the sources and pillars of da’wah. Then, in the third unit, he clarifies the da’wah methods that the da’wah must adhere to in his advocacy life in word and deed, clarifying the difference between methods and means and the importance of using each of them and their controls and types of advocacy methods, whether in word or in deed. Likewise, it became clear to the student the means, methods, and methods, including fixed and continuous, and some of the new and developed ones, which the caller to God Almighty must be familiar with its arts, and to exert his effort and effort in devising every legitimate and available means through which he can communicate with others to present the da’wah and its clarification, to convince the addressees of it and to explain its advantages and benefits. On the individual, society and humanity as a whole in this world and the next, and to show that the means and methods are passages and ways to reach the desired goals from which the callers to God benefit to carry out their duty.
In the fourth unit, which was titled Problems and Obstacles in the Way of Da`wah, we presented in this unit the problems facing da`wah and preachers, which are divided into two parts: internal and external. How to solve these problems and the obstacles that face the call and preachers, which is the second axis of this unit.
