ولدت لدى الباحث إحساسا بضرورة البحث في هذا الموضوع وقد حددّ الباحث مشكلة الدراسة بالتّساؤل الآتي: ما طبيعة العلاقة بين السلوك الإيثاري والذكاء الاجتماعي لدى أفراد عينة الدراسة ؟ وقد هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرّف على طبيعة العلاقة بين السلوك الإيثاري والذكاء الاجتماعي لدى أفراد عينة الدراسة وتعرّف الفروق على مقياسي السلوك الإيثاري والذكاء الاجتماعي لدى أفراد عينة الدراسة وفق متغيرات الجنس والتخصص الدراسي (كليات تطبيقية وعلمية، كليات إنسانية ونظرية) والسنة الدراسية (السنة الأولى والرابعة). لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة: استخدم الباحث مقياس السلوك الإيثاري (من إعداده) الذي يتألف من 27 عبارة موزعة على ثلاثة أبعاد هي: الطوعية والإرادية في تقديم العون للآخرين وتفضيل مصالح الآخرين على المصلحة الشخصية وتعريض حياة الفرد للخطر من أجل حياة الآخرين. ومقياس الذكاء الاجتماعي أعدّته قنيطة(2016)، والذي يتألف من 26 بندا موزعة على بعدين هما التواصل الاجتماعي والمهارات الاجتماعية. وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة الأساسية من 435 طالبا وطالبة من طلبة الكليات التطبيقية والنظرية في جامعة دمشق/ فرع درعا للعام الدراسي 2018/2019م موزعين 176 طالب وطالبة من الكليات التطبيقية و259 طالب وطالبة من الكليات الإنسانية. واستخدم الباحث في دراسته المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، واعتمد على البرنامج الإحصائي SPSS-20 في تحليل نتائج الدراسة. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية: وجود مستوى متوسط في الدرجة الكلية لمقياس السّلوك الإيثاري لدى الطلبة أفراد عينة الدراسة. وجود مستوى متوسط في الدرجة الكلية لمقياس الذّكاء الاجتماعي لدى الطلبة أفراد عينة الدراسة. إسهام الذّكاء الاجتماعي في التّنبؤ بالسّلوك الإيثاري لدى الطلبة أفراد عينة الدراسة. وجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين درجات الطلبة أفراد عينة الدراسة على مقياس السلوك الإيثاري ودرجاتهم على مقياس الذكاء الاجتماعي ووفق متغيرات (الجنس، التخصص الدراسي، السنة الدراسية). وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات الطلبة أفراد عينة الدراسة على مقياس السّلوك الإيثاري تبعا لمتغير الجنس لصالح الذكور. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات الطلبة أفراد عينة الدراسة على مقياس السلوك الإيثاري تبعا لمتغير التخصص الدراسي لصالح طلبة الكليات الإنسانية. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات الطلبة أفراد عينة الدّراسة على مقياس السلوك الإيثاري تبعا لمتغير السّنة الدراسية لصالح طلبة السّنة الرابعة. عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائيّة بين متوسطات درجات الطلبة أفراد عينة الدراسة على مقياس الذّكاء الاجتماعي تبعا لمتغيّر الجنس. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات الطلبة أفراد عينة الدراسة على مقياس الذكاء الاجتماعي تبعا لمتغير التخصص الدراسي لصالح طلبة الكليات التطبيقية. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات الطلبة أفراد عينة الدراسة على مقياس الذكاء الاجتماعي تبعا لمتغير السنة.

The researcher was acquainted with previous literature and studies that dealt with altruistic behavior and social intelligence among university students, All of the above mentioned justification was born to the researcher a sense of the need to research more in the subject of the study, The researcher then crystallized the problem of the study with the following question: Is there a relationship between altruistic behavior and social intelligence among a sample of students of the University of Damascus branch of Daraa ? This study aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between altruistic behavior and social intelligence among the study sample and the differences on the Scales of altruistic behavior and social intelligence among the study sample according to the variables of sex and academic specialization (applied and human colleges) and the academic year (first and fourth year). To achieve the objectives of the study the researcher used: a scale of altruistic Behavior (developed by the researcher) which consists of (26) distributed over a 3 dimensions are: Voluntary in helping other, Preference the interests of others over personal interest, and Endangering one's life for the lives of others. And a scale of social intelligence by Kneta (2016) which consists of (27) distributed an item on 2 dimensions: social communication and social skills. The sample of the basic study consisted of 435 male and female students of applied and theoretical faculties at Damascus University / Daraa branch for the academic year 2018/2019 distributed 176 male and female students from applied colleges and 259 male and female students from humanities faculties Study Methodology, the researcher used the descriptive and correlative methodology, and adopted the statistical program SPSS-20 in analyzing the results of the study. The study reached the following results: 1) That there a moderate level in total score on the scale of Altruistic behavior with the students study sample. 2) That there a moderate level in total score on the scale of social intelligence with the students’ study sample. 3) The Social intelligence contributes in predicting Altruistic Behavior among a sample study of students. 4) There is a positive statistically significant correlation between the scores of students’ study sample altruistic behavior scale and the scores on the social intelligence scale, and on the sex, academic major and academic year variables. 5) There are statistically significant differences between the scores of the students study sample to altruistic behavior Scale depending on the sex variable in favor of males, and on the academic major in favor of the theoretical college students, and on the academic year variable in favor of forth year students. 6) There are no statistically significant differences between the scores of the students research sample to social intelligence Scale depending on the sex variable. 7) There are statistically significant differences between the scores of the students study sample to social intelligence Scale depending on the academic major variable in favor of the scientific college students, and on the academic year in favor of forth year students.
