هدفت الدراسة إلى استنتاج أسس تعليم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها وما يواجههم من صعوبات وأسبابها عن طريق تحليل ستة فصول من مقدمة بن خلدون ، باستخدام اسلوب تحليل الموضوع theme analysis .وتوصلت إلى أن ابن خلدون سبق الدراسات الحديثة عندما ذكر بعض الإشارات لما ينبغي مراعاته عند تعليم اللغة العربية لغير الناطقين بها وهى أربعة عشر أساسًا تتفق مع ما جاء فى الدراسات اللغوية الحديثة من شروط التعلم اللغوى ومنها مفهوم الانغماس اللغوي ، والتكرار في مواقف طبيعية، المبنى على الفهم، و البيئة الطبيعية الصالحة لتعلم العربية ، والتقليد والاقتباس، واستعمال ما وعاه وحفظه في مواقف جديدة.
كما أشار إلى خمس صعوبات تواجه متعلم اللغة غير الناطق بها وتمثلت فى: صعوبات الكتابة وفهم المكتوب، وصعوبة فهم معاني الألفاظ العربية، و صعوبات تحصيل المفاهيم العلمية في العلوم المكتوبة باللغة العربية، وصعوبة التذوق الأدبي والوصول إلى البلاغة ، و صعوبات نطق الأصوات العربية، وألمح إلى أسبابها وتمثلت فى: البدء بتعلم نظام اللغة الأم الكتابي، وسبق تكوين الصورة الذهنية للكلمات بلغة الأم، وعدم التمكن من اللغة العربية بالنسبة لصعوبة البلاغة.

The study aimed to conclude the foundations of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers , the difficulties they face and their causes by analyzing six chapters of Ibn Khaldun’s introduction, using the theme analysis method. It concluded that Ibn Khaldun preceded modern studies when he mentioned some references to what should be taken into account when teaching The Arabic language for non-native speakers is fourteen fundamentally consistent with what was stated in modern linguistic studies of the terms of linguistic learning, including the concept of linguistic immersion, repetition in natural situations, based on understanding, the natural environment suitable for learning Arabic, imitation and quotation, and the use of what is conscious and preserved in New positions.
He also referred to five difficulties facing the non-speaking language learner, which are: the difficulties of writing and understanding the written, the difficulty of understanding the meanings of Arabic expressions, the difficulties of acquiring scientific concepts in the sciences written in Arabic language, the difficulty of literary appreciation and reaching eloquence, the difficulties of pronouncing the Arabic sounds, and allusions The reasons for it were: starting to learn the written system of the mother tongue, the mental image of words in the mother tongue was preceded, and the inability to master the Arabic language in relation to the difficulty of rhetoric.
