تأتي هذه الدراسة لتسلط الضوء على حوار دعوي نبوي، تجلّى فيها المنهج النبوي في محاورة المخالفين، ونظراً لما تضمنه هذا الحوار من ثراء معرفي يؤسس لعملية الاتصال الدعوي مع المخالفين؛ فقد رأى الباحث أهمية دراسة حوار النبي مع عتبة بن ربيعة. فتحدث فيه عن مفهوم الحوار الدعوي، والمضامين الدعوية التي أتت في ثنايا هذا الحوار، وهي أصول الحوار الدعوي وآدابه وأساليبه ونتيجة ذلك الحوار، ثم خرج الباحث بعدد من الدروس الدعوية المستفادة منه، والتي تسهم في إعداد الداعية المحاور بمنهج النبوة المبارك، كما خرج بعدد من النتائج والتوصيات الدعوية.

This study comes to shed light on a prophetic advocacy dialogue incident, The prophetic approach was manifested in the dialogue with the violators, and given the richness of knowledge contained in this dialogue that establishes the process of advocacy communication with violators; The researcher saw the importance of studying the dialogue of the Prophet with Utbah bin Rabi’ah. In it, he talked about the concept of advocacy dialogue, and the advocacy contents that came within that dialogue, which are the origins of advocacy dialogue, its etiquette and methods, and the result of that advocacy dialogue.
Then the researcher came out with a number of advocacy lessons learned from this dialogue, which contribute to the preparation of the preacher's interlocutor with the approach of the blessed prophecy. He also came out with a number of advocacy results and recommendations.
