يهدف البحث إلى التعرف على عدد من رموز الأدب الليبي الحديث والمعاصر، حيث شهدت بديات تاريخ ليبيا المعاصر بروز عدد من الأدباء والشعراء ممّن نظموا الشعر بشقيه العامي والفصيح، وقد كان للاضطرابات السياسية التي مّرت بها البلاد دور كبير في صقل مواهب رموز الأدب الليبي الحديث والمعاصر، فساهموا بقصائدهم الوطنية في دعم الحركة الوطنية، حيث تنادى بعضهم بحب الوطن، والحث على تخليصه من الوصاية والاستعمار، وتوحيد صفوف أبناء الوطن ونبذ الفرقة السياسية لنيل الاستقلال، كما وجدت الرومانسية والحب مساحة واسعة لها في شعر أدباء المرحلة.
تم استخدام المنهج التاريخي السردي الذي يتناسب مع طبيعة الموضوع.
وقد ختمت الدراسة بمجموعة من النتائج، أهمها: تأثر الحركة الأدبية بالمراحل السياسية التي مرّت بها ليبيا والمنطقة العربية من تعاقب أنظمة الحكم التي عاصرها الشعراء، مِمَّا انعكس على توجهاتهم الوطنية والقومية، تنوعت القصائد لتشمل الوطن والحنين إليه والدفاع عنه، إضافة إلى تناول قضايا المحيط العربي، وكذلك الشعر الاجتماعي والحب والرومانسية.

Abstract
The research aims to identify a number of symbols of modern and contemporary Libyan literature, as the beginnings of Libya’s contemporary history witnessed the emergence of a number of writers and poets who composed poetry, both colloquial and classical. The political turmoil that the country went through had a major role in refining the talents of symbols of modern and contemporary Libyan literature. They contributed with their patriotic poems to support the national movement, as some of them called for love of the homeland, urging its freedom from guardianship and colonialism, uniting the ranks of the people of the country and rejecting political faction in order to achieve independence. Romanticism and love also found a wide space for it in the poetry of writers of the period.
The historical narrative approach was used, which suits the nature of the subject.
The study concluded with a set of results, the most important of which are: The literary movement was influenced by the political stages that Libya and the Arab region went through, from the succession of ruling regimes, to the lives of poets, which was reflected in their patriotic and nationalist orientations. The leader diversified to include the homeland, nostalgia for it, and defense of it, in addition to addressing the issues of the Arab environment. , as well as social poetry, love and romance.
