يتكون البحث من مقدمه، وتمهيد، ومبحثين، وخاتمة.
أما المقدمة:- فتشتمل على أهمية الموضوع وأسباب اختياره، والمنهج المتبع في كتابته، وخطة تقسيم فصوله ومباحثه، والتمهيد: وفيه التعريف بمفردات البحث، وفيه مطلبان:-
المطلب الأول: مفهوم الإنجاب في الاصطلاح اللغوي، والفقهي ،المطلب الثاني: مفهوم الإنجاب في الاصطلاح الطبي، أما المبحث الأول: فتحدثت فيه عن وسائل التخلص من الإنجاب وأحكامها في ميزان الشريعة وفى ضوء الممارسات الطبية الحديثة. وفيه أربعة مطالب:-
المطلب الأول: بينت فيه المقصود من الإجهاض ووسائله، وحكمه، وأضراره، والمطلب الثاني: ذكرت فيه مفهوم التعقيم في الاصطلاح الفقهي، وعند المختصين، والمطلب الثالث: نوهت فيه عن وسائل التعقيم، والمطلب الرابع : ذكرت فيه الحكم الفقهي لإجراء التعقيم، أما المبحث الثاني:- فقد بينت فيه حكم استخدام الوسائل الحديثة لمنع الإنجاب الدائم لدواعى مرضية، في ميزان الشريعة وفى ضوء الممارسات الطبية الحديثة.
الخاتمة: وفيها أهم النتائج والتوصيات التي توصلت إليها في البحث.
