تتطلب دراسة منطقة الشرق الأوسط، معرفة عميقة بالقوى الفاعلة الرئيسة فيها، والتي تُعتَبر إيران، إلى جانب تركيا وإسرائيل، أحد أبرز القوى المتدخلة في بيئة صراعية، تسعى كل منها لحيازة مزيد من المصالح والنفوذ فيها. وتقوم السياسة الإيرانية على ادعاءات تاريخية، ومطامع، وتوظيف طائفي/مذهبي، قاد إلى تفكيك عدد من الدول العربية وانهيارها، وإلى تغييرات عميقة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط.
ويشكل هذا الكتاب، قسماً من جملة بحوث تم الاشتغال عليها طيلة العقد الماضي، تناولنا فيها بنية النظام الإيراني، وإشكالياته، وآليات عمله. بغية فهم الأساسات التي قام عليها المشروع الإيراني في الشرق الأوسط، وفهم آليات صناعة القرار داخل هذا النظام، والإشكاليات التي ترسخ في بنيانه، مترافقة مع نشوء نظام الملالي عام 1979، منذرة بانهيار لاحق، متأخر.
ويأتي هذا الكتاب باعتباره تأصيلاً ومنطلقاً لفهم الاضطرابات الكبرى الواقعة في بنى النظام الإيراني في العقد الأخير، والتي تقود إلى تفكّك مشروعه الخارجي (فكرة الكتاب الثاني)، وتنذر بانهيار الدولة، أو على الأقل انهيار نظام الملالي، لصالح نظام لن يكون أقل عنصرية تجاه محطيه.
ونأمل أن يشكل هذا الكتاب قاعدة بيانات للباحثين في الشأن الإيراني، عدا عن أنه محاولة لأرشفة أبحاثنا، التي اشتغلنا عليها، منذ رسالة الماجستير في جامعة دمشق، مروراً بعدد كبير من الأبحاث لصالح عدة مراكز بحثية أو مواقع وصحف عربية.
وحاولنا في هذا الجزء، تبيان الاضطرابات التي تتفاعل في بنى النظام الإيراني الداخلية، وتحديداً خلال الفترة (2011-2019)، على مستوى الإشكاليات السياسية والاجتماعية الإثنية، والتي أنتجت صراع هويات محلية غير قابلة للحل، إلا في إطار تفكيك الدولة ذاتها إلى عدة دول. كما وضحنا ما يترافق مع ذلك من فشل في مستوى أداء السلطة الإيرانية تنموياً، وما نتج عنه من آثار سياسية بالغة السوء، وذلك بالاعتماد على مؤشرات المنظمات الدولية المعنية بالأمر، مع قياس إجرائي لما يتم طرحه من إشكاليات.
لينتقل الكتاب بعد ذلك، لتبيان الأثر الذي لحق بهذه المؤسسات والبنى طيلة السنوات السابقة للعقوبات الدولية المفروضة على إيران، وكيف أن إيران لم تستطع الاستفادة من الرفع الجزئي المؤقت عن تلك العقوبات، قبل أن تنحدر ثانية في تداعيات أكثر سوءاً من سابقتها بعد فرض العقوبات ثانية عليها، وبحدة أشد مما كانت عليه.
ورغم أن الاتفاق النووي، كان من الممكن أن يشكل بادرة باتجاه منع إيران من تطوير سلاح نووي، وباتجاه انفتاح إيراني على العالم، أو ما يمكن اعتباره "عقلنة إيران"، إلا أن السلطات الإيرانية لم تدرك تلك الفرصة الأخيرة التي أتيحت لها، وحاولت استغلالها في تعزيز تداخلات الإقليمية التخريبية، ما أدى بالنتيجة إلى دخولها في اضطراب أكثر حدة، لم تعد تمتلك مفاتيح تجاوزه، إلا من خلال الخضوع شبه المطلق للولايات المتحدة، وخصوصاً بعد العقوبات الأخيرة.
على أن يتبع هذا الكتاب، كتاب آخر، يدرس بشكل مفصل، أبرز ملامح السياسة الخارجية الإيرانية، في العقد الأخير، ودورها التخريبي في محطيها العربي.

Iran: Collapse at Home - Studies on the Disintegration of the Iranian State Structure" is a deep exploration of the region of the Middle East, requiring a profound understanding of its major influential powers, including Iran, alongside Turkey and Israel, which are among the prominent intervening forces in a conflict-ridden environment, each seeking to expand its interests and influence. Iranian policy is founded on historical claims, ambitions, and the exploitation of sectarian/religious affiliations, leading to the disintegration and collapse of several Arab states and profound changes in the Middle East region.
This book constitutes a section of extensive research conducted over the past decade, focusing on the structure of the Iranian regime, its challenges, and operational mechanisms. It aims to understand the foundations upon which the Iranian project in the Middle East was built, the decision-making mechanisms within this regime, and the inherent problems entrenched in its structure, coinciding with the rise of the Mullah regime in 1979, foreshadowing a delayed but impending collapse.
This work serves as a foundational and launching point for comprehending the major disruptions within the Iranian regime in recent decades, which have led to the unraveling of its external projects (as explored in the second book), portending the collapse of the state, or at least the collapse of the Mullah regime, in favor of a system likely to be no less sectarian towards its targets.
We hope this book serves as a comprehensive resource for researchers of Iranian affairs, in addition to archiving our research efforts since the Master's thesis at Damascus University, extending to numerous research contributions for various research centers or Arab websites and newspapers.
In this segment, we attempt to illustrate the disruptions interacting within the internal Iranian system, specifically during the period (2011-2019), concerning political and socio-ethnic issues that have generated unresolved local identity conflicts, only resolvable through the dismantling of the state into several entities. We also clarify the concurrent developmental failures within the Iranian authority and the resulting severe political repercussions, relying on indicators from international organizations concerned with the matter, while measuring the procedural challenges posed.
Subsequently, the book elaborates on the impact on these institutions and structures in the years preceding the international sanctions imposed on Iran, illustrating how Iran failed to capitalize on the temporary partial lifting of those sanctions before descending into more severe repercussions following their reinstatement, harsher than before.
Despite the nuclear agreement potentially serving as a stepping stone to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons and opening Iran to the world—an opportunity for what could be termed 'Iranian normalization'—Iranian authorities failed to grasp this final chance presented to them, instead attempting to leverage it to enhance their disruptive regional interventions. As a result, Iran has entered a more acute disruption phase, lacking the keys to overcome it except through near-complete submission to the United States, particularly after the latest sanctions.
Following this book, another will comprehensively study the prominent features of Iranian foreign policy in the past decade and its destabilizing role in its Arab targets.
