لا شك أن البحوث العلمية في مجال المكتبات والمعلومات قد خطت خطوات معتبرة إنجازا ونشرا وتغطية موضوعية وجغرافية على المستوى الوطني، العربي والدولي، إنطلاقا من الدراسات البيبليومترية الحديثة، وعلى الرغم من كل هذه المجهودات المبذولة إلا أن مجال التطوير والتحديث في هذه البحوث سيبقى دائما قائما، لأن مكامن النقص والضعف لا يمكن تلافيها بالمطلق، فضلا عن الحاجة للاستفادة من تجارب العلوم الأخرى خصوصا تلك التي تندرج ضمن العلوم الإنسانية والاجتماعية.
إنطلاقا مما سبق يسعى هذا البحث إلى تسليط الضوء على أهم التوجهات التي أخذتها البحوث العلمية في مجال المكتبات والمعلومات، ومن ثم تقديم رؤية تجديدية في هذه البحوث قابلة للتنفيذ، من خلال رصد واقتباس أهم الطرق والأساليب المنهجية العلمية المستحدثة وتوضيح كيفية توظيفها في مجال البحث العلمي في هذا التخصص.
الملخص الانجليزي
There is no doubt that scientific research in the field of libraries and information has made significant strides in terms of achievement, publication, and objective and geographical coverage at the national, Arab and international levels, based on modern bibliometric studies. Despite all these efforts, the scope of development and modernization in this research will always remain, because the shortcomings and weaknesses cannot be completely avoided, in addition to the need to benefit from the experiences of other sciences, especially those that fall within the humanities and social sciences. Based on the above, this research seeks to shed light on the most important trends taken by scientific research in the field of libraries and information, and then present a renewable vision in this research that can be implemented, by monitoring and quoting the most important new scientific methodological methods and approaches and explaining how to employ them in the field of scientific research in this specialization.
