يعتبر ريني غينون (Réne Guénon) - عبد الواحد يحي بعد الإسلام - [ 1886- 1951] واحدا من أعظم علماء العصر الحديث في مجال مقارنة الأديان، ومن أعظم فلاسفة أوروبا في القرن العشرين، تدرس مؤلفاته التى ترجمت لــ 20 لغة لليوم في أرقى جامعات الغرب . قرأ الكتب السماوية وتعمق في دراسة الأديان والروحانيات وتوقف كثيرا عند القرآن حتى فاجأ الغرب بإعلان إسلامه وشكل ذلك صدمة للمجتمع الفرنسي المعادي للمسلمين؛ حيث أعطى بعدا آخر وفكرا جديدا في هذا المجال الذي ربط فيه بين عدة مجالات معرفية تكاد تكون متكاملة معرفيا وواقعيا وميتافيزيقيا على حد سواء، حيث يعتبر من أكبر العلماء والمفكرين المسلمين المساهمين والمجددين في الوقت نفسه في ميدان الأديان المقارنة وفلسفة الدين والميتافيزيقا والرمزية دون إغفال علاقة الدين بالسياسة .

Réne Guénon - Abd al-Wahid Yahya after Islam - [1886-1951] is considered one of the greatest scholars of the modern era in the field of comparative religions, and one of the greatest philosophers of Europe in the twentieth century. His works, which were translated into 20 languages today, are studied in the most prestigious universities of the West. He read divine books, delved into the study of religions and spirituality, and paused a lot at the Qur’an until he surprised the West by announcing his Islam, which shocked the French society, hostile to Muslims ; As he gave another dimension and a new thought in this field in which he linked several fields of knowledge that are almost integrated in knowledge, reality and metaphysics alike, as he is considered one of the largest Muslim scholars and thinkers who contributed and innovated at the same time in the field of comparative religions, the philosophy of religion, metaphysics and symbolism without neglecting the relationship between religion and politics.
