تعد دراسة وتحقيق المخطوطات في غاية النفع والأهمية، وبخاصة إذا كان المخطوط فيما يحتاج إليه الناس في جل أوقاتهم، والفقه من العلوم التي يتعامل بها المسلمون ولا يستغنون عنها بحال سواء في عباداتهم أو معاملاتهم لذلك فإن تحقيق أي كتاب في الفقه يدخل في هذه الأهمية وبخاصة إذا كان هذا الكتاب من الكتب المعتمدة في المذهب.
وكتاب الصدر الشهيد عمر بن عبد العزيز بن مازة (ت:536هـ)، المسمى "الفتاوى الكبرى" حري بأن يُحقق لأهميته في المذهب الحنفي والذي جمع فيه من شتات المسائل المتناثرة في كتب من سبقه من الفقهاء والتي لم يصل إلينا إلا القليل منها، وما أضاف من أقوال وترجيحات جعلت من بعده من فقهاء المذهب الحنفي ينقل كثيراً عنه، فأصبح من الأهمية بمكان.
لذلك فقد ارتأت جامعة العلوم الإسلامية العالمية أن تقوم بمشروع لتحقيق هذا الكتاب تحقيقاً أكاديمياً، وقد قسم الكتاب إلى ثلاثة أقسام، وأنيطت مهمة كل جزء من الكتاب إلى أحد طلاب الدراسات العليا، وكان نصيبي من هذا الكتاب هو تحقيق الجزء الأخير منه وهو من كتاب القضاء إلى أخر الكتاب.
وقد اقتضت طبيعة البحث أن يكون على ثلاثة أقسام:
القسم الأول: جعلته دراسة موجزة عن حياة المصنف – رحمه الله – وعن المصنف وأهميته ومنهج المصنف – رحمه الله – في كتابه، ووضحت منهجي في التحقيق مع بيان أوصاف نسخ المخطوطات التي اعتمدت عليها.
القسم الثاني: منحصراً في تحقيق الجزء الموكول إلي تحقيقه وما يحتويه من فصول عديدة وفوائد عظيمة.
القسم الثالث: فقد درست فيه عشراً من المسائل المتعلقة بموضوعات تحدث عنها المصنف – رحمه الله – مفصلاً في نطاق المذهب الحنفي، وأيضا درست خمساً من المسائل التي تحدث عنها المصنف – رحمه الله – دراسة مقارنة بين المذاهب الإسلامية المختلفة، ثم ختمت بخاتمة ما توصل إليه البحث من النتائج.

The study and checking of manuscript is considered extremely important and beneficial, especially with regard to what people need in all of their time, jurisprudence of the science that deals with the Muslims that they do not do without them under any circumstances, whether in worship or in their dealings. Therefore, the checking of any book in the Fiqh included in this significance, especially if this book is adopted in the doctrine books.
AL-Fatawa AL-Kobra of Hussam AL-Deen Omar Bin Abed AL-Azeez Bin Mazah AL-Sader AL-Shaheed (Died) in (536 AH- 1141 AD ) that is checked for its importance in the Hanafi school, That collected many different conditions from previous books , and these books hadn't been saved and so we have only little information from them. In addition to what he added from saying and opinions that made him reference to other writers in Hanafi School.
Therefore, the World Islamic Science University saw that project to check this book academically, and this book was divided into three sections, and entrusted the task of every part of this book to one graduate students, and it was this book of the last part from the beginning of ALQADA' book till the end.
The nature of research was divide the book into three sections:
First Section: briefly study about the life of the writer and about the book, it's importance and ideology. I described my ideology in the investigation with explanations of different type of copying that I depend on.
The second Section: is limited to the checking of my part, and show what's contains of great benefits.
With respect to the third Section, it has studied the tenth of the issues related to subjects were written and spoken about by the writer, exploring them within Hanafi school range. Also I have studied five other conditions that also were spoken about by the writer- comparison between different Islamic schools; I have ended my study with summary about the research results.
