تستهدف المنظمات المتطرفة الفکر وذلک على اعتبار أن الفکر هو أعمال العقل بطریقة أو بأخرى لتکوین رأى سلیم أو غیر سلیم تجاه قضیة أو موضوع أو شخص أو غیر ذلک,وما ینتج عن الفکر هو السلوک,فإن کان الفکر سلیما معافى ینتج عنه سلوک قویم , وإن کان الفکر غیر سلیم ینتج عنه سلوک مدمر سواء أکان باللسان أو بالإشارة أو الکتابة أو بالعمل المباشر أو غیر المباشر,ویقصد بغیر المباشر إقرار ما یقوم به الآخرون أو الرضا عنه أو تشجیعه.
وتستهدف الجماعات المتطرفة فکریاً الشباب من خلال التشکیک فی قدراتهم وهویتهم ومعرفتهم بأمور دینهم بل تشکیک الشباب فی مجتمعهم ککل وحتى فی أسلوب حیاتهم وعلاقاتهم بالناس الآخرین بالمجتمع,وبالتالی مواجهة التطرف الفکری لدى الشباب الجامعی والقضاء علیه نهائیاً مطلب إلحاحی باعتبار الشباب القوة الحیویة والمنتجة بالمجتمع, ودلائل لأهمیة الشباب التی أشارت إلیها الکتب السماویة حیث تم الإشارة إلى الشباب فی مواطن کثیرة من القرآن الکریم والسنة النبویة الشریفة.

Improper thought results in destructive behavior, whether by language, gesture, writing, direct or indirect action, and indirectly means approving what others do, being satisfied with it, or encouraging it.
Intellectually extremist groups target young people by questioning their abilities, their identity and their knowledge of their religion, but the youth in their society as a whole and even in their way of life and their relationships with other people in society, and thus confronting intellectual extremism among university youth and finally eliminating it is a vital demand for the vitality and product of youth, considering the youth to be the strength The youth referred to in the heavenly books, where the youth were referred to in many places from the Noble Qur’an and the honorable Sunnah.
