العلاقة بين الدين والسياسة في الأصول الإسلامية ليست لا فصلا حادا ولا دمجا تاما، وإنما هي وصل مع تمييز. ويتأسس هذا الفهم على تمييز علماء الإسلام بين تصرفات النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم الدينية، وتصرفاته الدنيوية، والسياسية منها على وجد الخصوص. واستعرض فصل خاص الأسس النظرية وتطبيقاتها في الفكر السياسي في الحضارة الإسلامية. كما تحدث فصلان عن نماذج عملية من خلال استعراض علاقة الديني بالسياسي لدى الأستاذ محمد عبده، والتفاعل بين الخطاب المستغرق في الهوية وقضاياها والخطاب المرتكز على شرعية الإنجاز والفعل السياسي، لدى حزب العدالة والتنمية المغربي.

The relationship between religion and politics in Islamic fundamentals is neither a sharp separation nor a complete amalgamation, but rather a connection with distinction. This understanding is based on the distinction of Islamic scholars between the religious and worldly behaviors of the Prophet Muhammad, may peace be upon him, particularly, his political behavior. A special chapter presents the theoretical foundations and their applications in political thought in Islamic civilization. Two chapters also talks about practical models by presenting the relationship between the religious and the political according to Professor Muhammad Abdo, and the interaction between the discourse that’s immersed in identity and its issues and the discourse that’s based on the legitimacy of achievement and political action in the Moroccan Justice and Development Party.
