یقوم ھذا البحث على تَتبُّع لفظ (القسوة) ومشتقَّاتھ في القرآن الكریم، وفق منھجیَّة التَّفسیرِ الموضوعيِّ للمصطلحِ القرآنيِّ؛ وذلك بغرض فھم ھذا المصطلح، والوقوف على المعاني
والدّلالات المتعلِّقة به. وقد تبیَّن من خلال تَتبُّع ھذا المصطلح في القرآن الكریم؛ أنَّھ جاء مقترناً بالقلب في كُلِّ مواضعه؛ وما ذاك إلَّا لأنَّ القلب ھو سیِّد الأعضاء؛ فإن قسا قست. وجاءت القسوة أیضاً مذمومةً في سائر المواضع. ومن أھمِّ القیم المستفادة من دراسة مصطلح القسوة في القرآن الكریم: بیان أنَّ السَّبیل للنَّجاة من قسوة القلوب ھو ذكر لله تعالى، والتَّمسُّك بأمره واللُّجوء إلیھ، والتَّفكُّر في عاقبة القاسیة قلوبھم. ویظھر ذلك من خلال النَّظر في النَّماذج الَّتي عرضھا القرآن الكریم لجملةٍ من القاسیة قلوبھم، كبني إسرائیل والظَّالمین، وما آل إلیھ حالھم، والتَّذكیر المستمرّ لھم؛ لعلَّ قلوبھم تلین وتخضع لأمر لله تعالى.

This study aims to look into the term “harshness” and all its
derivations in the Holy Quran based on the objective explanation of the
Quranic term so that its meaning and all the relevant explanations could
be understood .Looking into this term in the Holy Quran ,we see that
wherever it occurred , it is combined with the heart , as the heart is the
main organ of the body but it is vilified.
One of the most important values learned from studying the term
cruelty in the Qur'an: that the way to survive the grueling heart is
remembering the almighty God ,and to stick to His bides , and to
consider the consequence of heart harshness, by considering the Quranic
models presented by the Holy Qur'an as Bani Israel and the other cruel
people and what consequences they faced, and reminding them so that
they have perhaps their hearts soften and are subject to the order of Allah
almighty.
