This research amis at analysisng the results of researches and previous studies
related to measuring the effectiveness of computer assisted learning (CAL)
through the use of dimensional analysis to determine the impact of computer
assisted learning in achievement and some thinking skills. It also aims at coming
up with conclusions and generalizations which can be relied upon in decisionmaking about the employment of educational software and its use in the
different educational stages. Dimentional analysis is a kind of dates analysis
which are collected from the results various studies and analyzing them as if
they were the results of one large study. Computer assisted learning includes
drill and practice, tutorials, simulations and virtual reality, problem solving,
artificial intelligence and expert systems which are designed to help students
learn effectively. The results of the study have confirmed the positive effect of
CAL in the development of dependent variables addressed in the study.
