حظي العمل التطوعي على المستوى العالمي بالاهتمام المتزايد على كافة المستويات، من خلال المبادرات الدولية التي جمعت الشركات بالمجتمع المدني تحت إطار المسؤولية الاجتماعية، بالتزام مؤسسات الأعمال بالمساهمة في التنمية المستدامة والعمل مع المجتمع لتحسين نوعية الحياة، وتحولت هذه المبادرات من كونها تطوعية تقوم بها المؤسسة لأهداف إنسانية أو دينية إلى مساهمة منظمة نحو محاربة المشاكل الاجتماعية تحت راية التطوع المؤسسي. واليوم وفي خضم شتى التحولات التي تمر بها المجتمعات خاصة المجتمع الجزائري، برزت الحاجة إلى هذه المؤسسات للوفاء بمسؤولياتها الاجتماعية، خاصة مؤسسات القطاع الخاص باعتباره جزء من المجتمع.
تهدف هذه الدراسة البحثية إلى التعرف على دور القطاع الخاص في الجزائر في الوفاء بمسؤولياته في دعم المجتمع ومساندته من خلال التطوع المؤسسي بتسليط الضوء على واقع هذا الأخير وبالاعتماد على المنهج الوصفي، وذلك من خلال طرح تساؤل عن مدى وفاء
مؤسسات القطاع الخاص بالمسؤولية الاجتماعية؛ فأظهرت النتائج أن فكرة المسؤولية الاجتماعية كمفهوم لم تتبلور بعد لدى مسؤولي المؤسسات بالقطاع الخاص، مع الغياب التام لسياسة ولبرامج التطوع المؤسسي.

Volunteer work at the global level has received increased attention through international initiatives that brought companies together with civil society under the framework of the social responsibility, with the commitment of business enterprises to contribute to sustainable development and work with society to improve the quality of life, and these initiatives have transformed From being voluntary that the foundation carries out for humanitarian or religious goals to an organized contribution under the banner of institutional volunteering. Today, in the midst of the various transformations that societies are going through, especially the
Algerian society, the need for institutions has emerged to fulfill their social responsibilities, especially the private sector institutions, as the latter is part of society.
This research study aims to recognize the role of the private sector in Algeria in fulfilling its responsibilities in supporting and backing society through institutional volunteering by shedding light on the reality of the latter, by asking the question of the extent to which private sector institutions fulfill social responsibility. The results showed that the idea of social responsibility as a concept has not crystallized among officials of institutions in the private sector, in addition to the absence of a policy for corporate volunteering programs.
