الملخص الانجليزي
has a great advantage over the traditional network. The benefit of SDN is the ability of the network control to be physically separated from forwarding devices. It has been established that SDN has been able to solve certain security issues, The support vector machine (SVM) algorithm is the existing algorithm that has helped a great deal to solve certain network issues. However, SDN is still prone to vulnerabilities. One of which is the distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks. The advanced support vector machine (ASVM) is proposed in this research to serve as an enhancement to the SVM because of its ability to multiclass and detect DDoS attack threats from the control layer and OpenFlow switches in SDN.
