تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل دور الحركة النسوية في تطور منظور النوع الاجتماعي ضمن الدراسات السياسية باعتبارها مجموعة من الحركات والأيديولوجيات تهدف إلى الدفاع عن الحقوق السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية للمرأة. وتحاول إحياء الجدل حول مكانة قضايا المرأة في العلوم السياسية والتحول الذي شهده نحو دراسة مكانة علم السياسة في اهتمامات الحركة النسوية، وتستهدف بشكل خاص تأثير بعض فروع النسوية في الميول السياسية للمجتمع . وخلصت الدراسة إلى استنتاج مفاده أن البحوث النسوية جعلت من الأدوار الاجتماعية لكلا الجنسين مفهوما مركزيا في دراسة الأوضاع الهيكلية والثقافية والتاريخية التي تسبب فروقات بين المرأة والرجل، وتنشأ علاقات قوة بينهما.

This study aims to analyzing the role of feminism in the progress of
gender approach in political science as a collection of movements and
ideologies aimed at defining, establishing, and defending equal political,
economic, and social rights for women.
the study try to put in argue the transformation from women question in
political science to the science question in feminism. It particularly target
closely the influence of some branches of feminism in the political leanings
of society.
It results that feminist scholarship takes the social construction of
gender as a central concept examining the structural, cultural and historical
conditions that create distinction and perpetuate power relations between
women and men.
