يُعدُّ مجلسُ الأوقاف المركزي بمثابة مجلس الإدارة الذي يتولى وضع استراتيجية المؤسسة والتقرير بشأن مشاريعها وخططها، وقراراتها الهامة، وقد أعاد القانون رقم /31/ لعام 2018 الخاص بوزارة الأوقاف تنظيم أحكام مجلس الأوقاف المركزي. وإن حوكمة هذا المجلس تعني تطبيق مبادئ الحوكمة على أعلى مؤسسة في وزارة الأوقاف، وهي كذلك جزء من مشروع حوكمة وزارة الأوقاف بكاملها.

The Central Awqaf Council serves as the Board of Directors, which sets the institution's strategy and report on its projects, plans and important decisions. Law No. 31 of 2018 of The Religious Endowments Ministry has reorganized the provisions of the Central Awqaf Council. The governance of this council means applying the principles of governance to the highest institution in The Religious Endowments Ministry, and it is part of the entire governance project of this ministry.
