قد يكون المجتمع الإنساني اليوم أحوج ما يكون لتبني الاستشارة الفلسفية؛ وذلك بعد ما مرت به الإنسانية من تجارب ومراحل تطورللعقل الإنساني، ومثلما كان لهذا التطور استفادات وأهداف لجعل الإنسان أكثر سعادة؛ أفرزت التجارب عدد من المشكلات نتاجًا للصراعات الاقتصادية والحروب العالمية وتباين الرؤية الثقافية والقيمية للمجتمعات المعاصرة. وبعد محاولات العلم في تحقيق الرفاهية للإنسان ومحاولات علم النفس لجعل الإنسان أكثر جدارة وقدرة على مجابهة الحياة ومتطلبات الفترة المعاصرة؛ مازال الإنسان المعاصر يشعر بالنقص والاغتراب ويواجه أقسى مشكلاته الوجودية طارحًا على عقله ثلاثة أسئلة هم الأكثر أهمية ووضوحًا: من هو حقًا؟! ماذا يريد؟ّ وما الفائدة من الحياة؟!

Human society today may be in dire need of adopting philosophical counselling. This is after humanity has gone through the experiences and stages of development of the human mind, and just as this development had benefits and goals to make humans happier; Experiences have produced a number of problems as a result of economic conflicts, world wars, and the differences in cultural and value visions of contemporary societies. After the attempts of science to achieve well-being for humans and the attempts of psychology to make humans more worthy and capable of confronting life and the requirements of the contemporary period; Modern man still feels inferior and alienated and faces his harshest existential problems, asking his mind three questions that are the most important and clear: Who is he really?! What does he want? What is the benefit of life?!
