Mohamed El-sayed is a senior researcher in Soils, Water and Environmental Research Institute at Agricultural Research Center, Egypt. He is a member of American Chemical Society and a member of the Egyptian National Committee of Soil Sciences (NCSC). Mohamed El-sayed got Ph.D. degree in chemistry in 2013 from Sohag University, Egypt. In the same year of his PhD graduation, he has awarded the Annual Prize Award for the best published paper from Soils, Water and Environmental Research Institute at Agricultural Research Center, Egypt. In 2014, he has awarded a Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholarship in AY2014-2015 and affiliated with South Dakota State University, USA. He has been awarded a Certificate of Merit for my presentation from the ACS Division of Environmental Chemistry at the 249th ACS National Meeting in Denver, CO. In 2019 - 2020, he participates as principal nominee for the Fulbright Alumni Activity: Egypt Food Security Research Project. In 2020, he has awarded a certificate of the Second Rank Award for his oral presentation from the International Web Conference “Perspective on Agriculture and Applied Sciences in COVID-19 Scenario (PAAS-2020) (October 4-6, 2020). El-sayed has many international publications to his credit, including high impact research papers, and book chapters. He was a co-convener for a session (Environmental applications of clay minerals) in the 16th International Clay Conference. He currently serves as a reviewer for a number of journals and serves as editor for Advancements in Material journal and International Journal of Environmental Chemistry. Also, he was an associated Editor for ICC special Issue "clay minerals". His studies focus on reuse of low quality water, soil component interaction and controlling soil and water contaminants.
