الملخص الانجليزي
The separation efficiencies of the mass-spectrometer MASHA were determined for short-lived mercury isotopes produced in xn-evaporation channels of complete fusion reaction 40Ar+144Sm → 184Hg. For the determination of the efficiencies two independent techniques were used: the modified catcher foil technique [1] for the measurement of the absolute cross-sections and the solid state ISOL technique using the mass-spectrometer MASHA [2]. The absolute cross-sections of evaporation residua in the reactions 40Ar+144Sm → 184Hg and 48Ca+142Nd → 190Hg were obtained with use of moving absorber array. The beam interruption method was applied. During the accumulation time (beam is on) five thin aluminum foils of absorber array were placed one under another so the reaction products were stopped there. After that the absorber array was moved and extended to its full length so that each absorber foil was placed opposite to the corresponding silicon detector during the measurement time (beam is off). Then the α-decays of synthesized isotopes were detected and the energy and the exact time of α-particle registration were recorded. As a result, the method allowed reliable identification of reaction products from their α-decay energies and decay times.
