الملخص
هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على أساليب التفكير السائدة لدى الطلبة المتفوقين دراسياً بجامعة مؤتة, , والتعرف فيما أذا كأن هنالك فروق في هذه الأساليب تعزى لمتغيرات الجنس ونوع التخصص والمستوى الدراسي , تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع الطلبة المتفوقين في الجامعة والحاصلين على معدلات تراكمية جيد جداً وممتاز وعددهم ( 3611) طالباً وطالبه , بلغت عينة الدراسة ( 322) طالباً وطالبةً وبنسبة 9% من مجتمع الدراسة, منهم 224 ذكور و98 أناث موزعين على مختلف التخصصات والمستويات الدراسية,تم استخدام قائمة أساليب التفكير لستيرنبرج وواجنر(Sternberg &Wagner,1997),أظهرت النتائج أن أكثر الأساليب التفكيرية شيوعا لدى الطلبة المتفوقين بجامعة مؤته هي ( التشريعي, العالمي,التحرري, التنفيذي) واحتل الأسلوب التشريعي المرتبة الأولى, كما ظهرت فروق داله إحصائيا بين الذكور والأناث في أساليب التفكير على الأبعاد الفرعية وكانت في معظمها لصالح الذكور وفروق في الأداة الكلية لصالح الذكور أيضاً , وأظهرت النتائج فروق داله أيضاً في أساليب التفكير وفق متغير نوع الكلية ولصالح الكليات العلمية وفروق وفق متغير السنوات الدراسية لصالح السنوات المتقدمة .وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة قدم الباحث عدداً من التوصيات .

Abstract
The study aims at exploring the common thinking styles among the talented students at Muta University and their relationship with some other variables, with the view of understanding whether there are differences in these styles that can be attributed to variables of gender, specialization and academic level of the participants. The population of the stay was composed of all outstanding university students ( both male and female) who had an accumulative score of very good and excellent t (3611 students). The study sample consists of (322) students (i.e. 9% of the study population:224 males and 98 females distributed on different academic specializations and levels. The study used (Sternberg & Wagners,1997) TSI. The results showed that the most common thinking styles among the outstanding students at Mutah University were (legislative, global, liberal and executive). The legislative style was ranked first and there wre statistically significant differences between male and female outstanding students regarding thinking styles in sub-dimensions. D Most of these differences wre in favor of males in addition to differences in the overall instrument which were in favor of males as well. Furthermore, the results showed statistically significant differences in thinking styles according to the type of college variable in favor of scientific colleges as well as differences according to the academic level variable in favor of higher levels. In light of the the study findings, the researcher has presented a number of recommendations.
