The study aimed to identify the reality of practicing imaginative leadership and its relationship to achieving competitive advantage from the point of view of a sample of academic leaders in Palestinian universities in the West Bank. The questionnaire was used as a tool for collecting data, and the study followed the descriptive analytical approach, the study sample consisted of (50) individual academic leaders. In Palestinian Universities. The study came out with several results, the most important are: (The existence of a high practice of imaginative leadership in all its dimensions by academic leaders in Palestinian Universities, The presence of a high level of competitive advantage. The results also showed the existence of a statistically significant relationship between the dimensions of imaginative leadership (flexibility and adaptation, motivation and inspiration, Empowerment and delegation, effective communication) and competitive advantage, while there is no statistically significant relationship between the creative visualization dimension and competitive advantage in all its dimensions. The Study came out with several recommendations: (continuing to practice Imaginative Leadership as a main style of Leadership, Enhancing the training of employees in various job titles on using imaginative Leadership).
