Dr. Abed does his research in the field of radiology. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Medical School ICRT program. Dr. Abed is specifically interested in cardiothoracic imaging. Dr. Abed receives formal training in the field of diagnostic radiology (HMO year 1) and he is in the process of obtaining his specialty training in radiology. He did one year of a radiology research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman school of medicine where he worked on projects relating to the rule of deep learning on image reconstructions. Dr. Abed is a certified reviewer in many radiology journals including ESR and RSNA journals and has 10 publications as of July 2021. he is open to contributing to the scientific community.
