هدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل طبيعة العلاقة بين تطبيق بطاقة الأداء المتوازن وتعزيز القدرة التنافسية لجامعة إب، واعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وذلك باستخدام قائمة استقصاء موجهة للمسئولين، الإداريين والأكاديميين في جامعة إب، كما تم استخدام أسلوب الحصر الشامل عند جمع البيانات الأولية. وبينت النتائج وجود ضعف في مستوى تطبيق أبعاد بطاقة الأداء المتوازن (رضا العملاء، والعمليات الداخلية، والتعلم والنمو، والأداء المالي) في جامعة إب، إضافة إلى وجود ضعف في مستوى القدرة التنافسية لجامعة إب وفق تقديرات المسئولين فيها، كما بينت النتائج وجود علاقة معنوية بين تطبيق أبعاد بطاقة الأداء المتوازن وتعزيز مستوى القدرة التنافسية لجامعة إب.

This research aimed to analyze the nature of the relationship between application of The Balanced Scorecard and enhancement of competitiveness in Ibb University. The research was based on the analytical descriptive approach using a survey list for the officials, administrators and academics at Ibb University. Also, a comprehensive inventory method was used through the process of collecting primary data. The results showed a weakness in the level of implementation of the dimensions of Balanced Scorecard (Customer Satisfaction, Internal Operations, Learning, Growth and Financial Performance) at Ibb University. In addition, there was a weakness in the level of competitiveness of Ibb University according to the directions of its administrators. Further, the results showed a significant relationship between the implementation of the dimensions of the strategic the Balanced Scorecard and enhancement of the level of competitiveness in Ibb University.
