إن نتائج هذه الدراسة التي تشمل اختبار تاثير مستخلص الماء الحار لثمار (Citrullus colocynthis) ضد القراد في المختبر ، تبين أن الوقت الأساسي لشلل القراد بتركيز 18.75 ملغم / مل كان 6 دقائق وهلاكه في 26 دقيقة ، بينما في تركيز 37.5 ملغم / مل كان زمن شلل الحركة 4 دقائق وكان وقت الهلاك 20 دقيقة ، في المجموعة الضابطة التي أعطيت ماءًا كان وقت شلل الحركة 11 دقيقة ، وهلكت الحشرة خلال 31 دقيقة ، علاوة على ذلك ، ظهرت فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المجموعة الضابطة والمجموعة المعالجة أيضًا في النسب المئوية المصابة عند مستوى الاحتمال 0.05.

Abstract The results of the present study which include testing of activity of the hot water extract of fruits the Citrullus colocynthis against the ticks in vitro, showing that , the principle time of paralysis of tick in 18.75 mg/ml concentration was 6 minutes and died in 26 minutes , while in the 37.5 mg/ml concentration the time of paralyses of movement was 4 minutes and the time of died was 20 minutes , in control group which was given distal water , the time of paralyses of movement was 11 minutes , and died through 31 minutes , moreover , significant differences were appearance between the control group and treated group also in the percentages infected cattle at the probability level 0.05.
