الأمواج في الجو و المحيطات تمت دراستها في هذه الرسالة مع التأكيد علي الأمواج السطحية و الداخلية باستعمال معادلة KdV غير الخطية كأداة في هذه الدراسة.

Waves in ocean and atmosphere have been studied in this project with some emphasis on surface and internal waves using the nonlinear KdV equation as the main tool in this study.
The KdV equation has been derived for water waves with the use of perturbation theory. Some of the well-known solutions of the KdV equation have been studied.
