This study was conducted at the biological department laboratories at the university of Tikrit.The aim was to prove the ability of the following dermatophytes fungus isolates Trichophyton: T.mentagrophytes var.mentagrophytes,T.verrucosumvar.discoides,T.schoenleinii,T.soudanense ,T.terrestre, T.rubrum var.granular and T.tonsurans, to produce the protease after their isolation purification, the effect of temperature and pH on the production and the optimal activity of the enzyme , as well as the water extract and alcoholic extract of citrus aurantifolia influence on the inhibition of fungal growth and the production of the enzyme from the isoletes .
