My research interests include the following areas: - Autonomous Mobile Robot Navigation System in structured or non-structured environments using UGV, UAV or underwater vehicles - Robot Path Planning of the industrial and mobile robots using the laser simulator approach - Industrial Robotics for manufacturing systems. - Mobile Manipulators and its applications. - Mechatronics Systems design and implementation for service and manufacturing Systems. - Automation and Control of machines and production lines. - Intelligent Active Force Control in mechatronics applications - Mobile robot Prototypes Fabrication involving mechanical, electronics and software development. - Sensors Integrations and developing of the 2D-3D local maps using sensor fusion techniques. - Localization of the robotic system and removing of the noisy and uncertainties from the sensors measurements - Signal and Image Processing
