صممت الدراسة الحالية لتحديد نسب الاصابة بطفيلي الدايروفيلاريا ايميتس في الانسان في قضاء الهندية محافظة كربلاء، تم عزل 97 عينة مصل من ساكني القرى ( 82 ذكر و 15 انثى) بعمر (7-57) سنة . تم الكشف عن مستضدات الطفيلي باستخدام تقنية الاليزا في الامصال المعزولة.
الملخص الانجليزي
This study was carried out to determine the infection of Dirofilaria in Al-Hindya region in Karbala governorate. A total of 97 serum samples were ta en from clinically healthy Iraqi people, 82 males and 15 females aged (7-57) years old and examind. 6 cases (20%) out of 30 were seropositive for IgG detected by ELISA for Dirofilaria immitis, infection. The nematode Ag has been identified by Elisa in the serum of these infected peoples. It’s believed that the environmental factors such as temperature and humidity in Iraq are suitable for the spread of dirofilariosis.
