The survey of fruit-bearing phenology in two local categories of carob-tree (productive "dkar" and ''lanta'', Ceratonia siliqua L., Leguminoseae) from the Northwest of Morocco showed that sites circumstances haven't any significant effects neither on of aborted-flowers and fruits rates nor on developed-fruits percentage. ln these carob-tree categories, aborted-flowers percentage attains 83 % and 81.8 % respectively for productive "dkar" and "lanta". The developed-fruits rate varies from 9.97 % in productive "dkar" to 11.5 % in "lanta" while aborted-fruits percentage remained lower (6.58 % and 7.03 % for "lanta" and productive "dkar" in the same order). Moreover, productive "dkar" category presents a regular production of carobs whereas the "lanta" one shows an altemate fructiferous production from one year to the next.
