The paper studies Islamic ruling vis-à-vis attributing child of adultery to his biological father. The issue
received its significance because “PROTECTION OF PROGENY” is one of five objectives of Shari’ah,
and Islam bond many issues to it, such as inheritance and whom to and not to married, so on so forth. The
paper also important from revivalism point of view, as mass majority of Muslim scholars are with the
view of declining affiliating of child of adultery to his biological father even though medicine and science
prove with no doubt that he is the father. Therefore, the paper reexamine the topic under view of new
changes and in line with objectives of Shari’ah. The researcher has followed inductive approach to
highlight Muslim scholars and jurists point of view in a comprehensive way. Among findings of the paper
is that Islam does not hold responsibility of a person because of someone else deed, and each person is a
responsible for his/her own action. Thus, child of adultery affiliates to in parentage to his biological
father, and type of the prooves is to be concerned before the judgment
