Dr. Abdelaali Fargi received his PhD in Physics of Semiconductor Devices and Electronics from Faculty of Sciences of Monastir (Tunisia) in 2016, the Master of Science Degree in Materials Science and Nanostructures from Faculty of Sciences of Monastir, Tunisia, in 2010. He received Bachelor of Science in Physics from Faculty of Sciences of Monastir, Tunisia, in 2008. He received Technical Diploma in Electronic Engineering from Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology of Sousse, Tunisia, in 2006. Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the University of Monastir. Dr. Abdelaali Fargi is a well respected Researcher in the field of Semiconductor Devices, Nanotechnology and its Applications. He has made many contributions in the field of defect characterization in MOSFET, MOS based Photo-SET Sensor, Quantum Dot based HEMT structures, MIM structures, Power devices, etc.…Setting up and Programming the whole experimental setup in the lab at the University of Monastir. His PhD research focused on electrical characterization of parasitic effects on the characteristics of the indium-doped silicon MOSFETs for sub-micron technology applications. His main areas of research are electrical characterization of semiconductor devices and simulation (TCAD and Other tools) and modelling of new emerging devices. In 2020, He served as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Center for Research in Microelectronics and Nanotechnology of Sousse (TUNISIA) under a federal PACTE Project in which he focused on making a smart gas sensor using embedded systems and IoT for Civil and Military Applications.
