A total number of 80 male growing Alexandria (V-Line × Balady)
rabbit's ages 35 day were randomly distributed among 4 groups and fed the
same diets as: control group and three treatments that supplemented with oral
suspension which were bee pollen (BP, 200 mg/kg. BW), mannanoligosaccharides (MOS, 35 mg/kg. BW) and the third treatment was a
combination of BP with MOS. Body weight (BW), body weight gain (BWG),
feed intake (FI), feed conversion ratio (FCR), biochemical and haematological
blood parameters and carcass characteristics were measured. Mannanoligosaccharides supplementation had significantly improved BWG all. Also,
MOS alone significantly improved FI all compared to Bp with MOS. All
treatments did not affect FCR. Dressing percentage were significantly higher
with BP and/or MOS. Bee pollen (P<0.05) with MOS increased tests percentage
compared to control. Mannan-oligosaccharides had significantly higher relative
economic efficiency (REE) than other groups. In conclusion, MOS and/or BP
could be used as bio-additives in growing rabbits during period from 35-91 days
of age and improving growth performance. Furthermore, MOS improved EE
