AbstractThe aerial parts (fresh leaves) of thirteen species belong to family of Fabaceaewere collectedfrom various fields in Hillah city to investigate polymorphism in the ITS region of nrDNAbyusing polymerase chain reactionprocessed withrestriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP-PCR). Based on the data generated, it was possible to identify all of the species that were placed in threegroupsthat arecompatible withthethree subfamilieswithin Fabaceae.So,we can be consideredthat theRFLP-PCRmethodis very reliableto identify different speciesbelonging tothe same family
