يتناول موضوع البحث الدور الكويتي من تلك الحرب وموقفها الرامي الى ايقاف القتال من خلال المبادرات التي طرحتها ومن خلال مشاركاتها في المؤتملرات التي انعقدت لغرض انهاء تلك الازمة لكن تطورات الموقف ادت الى حصول معارك واشتباكات كبيرة في الساحة اللبنانية لكن مع ذلك كان للدبلومساسية الكويتية اثرا كبيرا في التج\دخل لتهدئة الاوضاع ومنه مؤتمر الرياض في عام 1976وكذلك مؤتمر القاهرة بنفس العام ايضا وقد انتهت تلك المحاولات بتشكيل لجنة رباعية لمتابعة تطور الاوضاع في لبنان

The topic of the discussion deals with the Kuwaiti role in that war and its position aimed at stopping the fighting through the initiatives that it put forward and through its participation in the conferences that were held for the purpose of ending that crisis, but the developments of the situation led to the occurrence of battles and major clashes in the Lebanese arena. He entered to calm the situation, including the Riyadh conference in 1976, as well as the Cairo conference in the same year as well. Those attempts ended with the formation of a quadripartite committee to follow up on the development of the situation in Lebanon.
