The aim of this study is to assess the reading habits of Algerians during the COVID-19 lockdown and to find the association between reading habits with some demographic variables. Descriptive survey design was adopted and simple random sampling technique was used, and to meet this endeavor, a web-based questionnaire was administrated owing to the risk could pose paper, and total response collected was 1002. Results revealed that there was significant improvement in the reading habits of Algerians during the lockdown. It was shown that despite Algerians reading habits in digital form are increasingly developed in the period of lockdown, readers still prefer reading on paper for more comfortable conditions and home was the most space preferred for readers in this period.
