This research aims to find out the degree to which the Palestinian science and life curriculum for the eighth grade includes the dimensions of sustainable development. The researchers used the analytical descriptive approach in the manner of content analysis, and the researchers adopted the idea and the unit of analysis. The study sample consists of science and life books for the eighth grade within the Palestinian curriculum during the year 2022/2023 AD The two researchers prepared a questionnaire to analyze the content of science and life books for the eighth grade, to identify the extent to which they include the areas of sustainable development, namely: (the social dimension, the environmental dimension, the economic dimension, the health dimension, and the educational dimension.The results were reached that the content of the science and life curriculum for the eighth grade includes the dimensions of sustainable development in varying degrees. The educational dimension got the highest score with a rate of (85.11%), followed by the environmental dimension with a rate of (7.38%), followed by the health dimension with a rate of (3.55%), followed by the social dimension. with a rate of (3.28%), and finally the economic dimension with a rate of (0.68%), and the issue of social justice got the highest score with a rate of (91.67%) in the social dimension, and the issue of fresh water got the highest score with a rate of (33.33%) in the environmental dimension. Renewable energy got the highest score with a rate of (70.00%) in the economic dimension, the issue of diseases and their prevention got the highest score with (65.38%) in the health dimension, and the issue of active participation got the highest score with (52.17%) in the educational dimension.

يهدف هذا البحث إلى معرفة درجة تضمين منهاج العلوم والحياة الفلسطيني للصف الثامن الأساسي لأبعاد التنمية المستدامة، استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي التحليلي بأسلوب تحليل المحتوى واعتمد الباحثان الفكرة كوحدة لتحليل، تتكون عينة الدراسة من كتب العلوم والحياة للصف الثامن الأساسي ضمن المنهاج الفلسطيني خلال العام 2022/2023م، قام الباحثان بإعداد استمارة لتحليل محتوى كتب العلوم والحياة للصف الثامن، للتعرف على مدى تضمنها لمجالات التنمية المستدامة وهي: (البعد الاجتماعي، والبعد البيئي، والبعد الاقتصادي، والبعد الصحي، والبعد التعليمي.

تم التوصل إلى أن محتوى منهاج العلوم والحياة للصف الثامن يتضمن أبعاد التنمية المستدامة بدرجات متفاوتة، وقد حصل البعد التعليمي على أعلى درجة بنسبة (85.11%)، ويليه البعد البيئي بنسبة (7.38%)، يليه البعد الصحي بنسبة (3.55%)، ويليه البعد الاجتماعي بنسبة (3.28%)، وأخيراً البعد الاقتصادي بنسبة (0.68%)، وحصلت قضية العدالة الاجتماعية على أعلى درجة بنسبة (91.67%) في البعد الاجتماعي، كما حصلت قضية المياه العذبة على أعلى درجة بنسبة (33.33%) في البعد البيئي، وحصلت قضية الطاقة المتجددة على أعلى درجة بنسبة (70.00%) في البعد الاقتصادي، وحصلت قضية الأمراض والوقاية منها على أعلى درجة بنسبة (65.38%) في البعد الصحي، وحصلت قضية المشاركة الفعالة على أعلى درجة بنسبة (52.17%) في البعد التعليمي.
