تبحث الورقة في تطور انماط استهلاك الطاقة وتركيبها واتجاهاتها في العراق، والأهمية النسبية لها على مستوى المجموعة النفطية العربية أوابك. وهل ان ذلك في صالح خطط التنمية في العراق، ام غير ذلك. حصلت على نتائج عديدة، لعل ابرزها أن المخاطر في سبل الاستثمار وخاصة بالنسبة للغاز الطبيعي في مسار التنمية المنشودة.

The paper examines the evolution of energy consumption patterns, composition and trends in Iraq, and the relative importance of them at the level of the Arab oil group OAPEC. Is this in favor of development plans in Iraq, or otherwise? I obtained many results, perhaps the most prominent of which is the risks in the ways of investment, especially with regard to natural gas, in the desired development path.
