ذا بحث يعنى بالشيخ الجليل الداعية المصلح الشيخ بشير الصقال المفتي الأسبق للموصل الحدباء. كان الصقال الأديبَ والشاعرَ والمفكرَ الذي: اشتهر بدعوته على طريقة الأفغاني وتلميذه محمد عبده. وقد اهتم البحث بالفنون (أو الملاحظ) البلاغية في شعره وخطبه؛ بدراسة مستفيضة بينت ما عنده من: أسلوب أدبي رفيع يزخر بأسمى المعاني في أبهى صور البيان الموشى بأروع البديع من المحسنات اللفظية والمعنوية في نسق جميل وترتيب أنيق، بلغة ساحرة تأخذ بمجامع القلوب فتسحرها.

This research is concerned with the great preacher and reformer, Sheikh Bashir al-Saqal, the former Mufti of Mosul al-Hadba. He was a writer, poet, and thinker who was: famous for his preaching in the manner of Al-Afghani and his student Muhammad Abduh. The research was interested in the rhetorical arts (or the noticed) in his poetry and speeches. With a thorough study, it showed what he has of: A fine literary style full of the highest meanings in the most beautiful pictures of the statement, which is covered with the most wonderful verbal and moral qualities in a beautiful format and elegant arrangement, in a charming language that takes hearts together and enchants them.
