Women are half of society and half of the market, and women represent the majority of talent sources and make 80% of decisions to buy consumer goods, and there are many women's participation in economic activity around the world, these participants work to enhance economic growth rates by increasing GDP per capita, improving family income, and the spread of entrepreneurial projects, which reflects positively on the global economy.
Many experts around the world pointed out that increasing women's participation in economic work and their involvement in the labor market has been the main force of economic growth during the past two decades, as it has achieved a great leap in extracting their rights in the labor market.
Women have a major role in the economic life of any society and any country that does not believe that women are half of society and women do not participate in their economic activities have become paralyzed in their economy and weak in their productive returns, the economic role of women is based on two main pillars, production and consumption, where 80% of consumption decisions are issued by women and the social role of the family.
Women's economic empowerment is a process whereby women can control basic economic and financial resources such as capital, wages and property in kind, helping to move from a lower economic position to a higher economic power.
The empowerment of women in economic sectors around the world requires political will, amending some laws, amending the labor law, and working to change the traditional stereotype inherited about the fragility of the role of women in their economic achievements.
