ان المعالم السياحية الدينية التي تبقت بمدينة الأغواط ، تبين لنا الدور الفعال الذي أدته هذه المدينة في المدى الزمني و كثافة البناء و التعمير و المكانة التي حظيت بها المنطقة في ضل الإسلام و مدى التطور الذي عرفته في تاريخ و حضارة الجزائر في العصر الإسلامي ، لأن ما تبقى من معالمها مرآة تعكس مدى التطور الذي وصلت إليه في مجال العمارة و العمران و الذي هو في حقيقة الأمر ناتجعن فكر جديد لسكان المنطقة في بناء الحضارة الإنسانية، جاء به الفاتحون، و هذا الفكر يحثهم و يدفعهم إلى التطور و التحضر في جميع الميادين، و لعل مدينة الاغواط و منطقتها ما هي إلا نتاج لهذا. حيث أصبحت مركزا حضاريا ازدهر و صدر الكثير من التأثيرات الفنية و المعمارية و العلمية إلى مختلف المناطق من الجزائر، و هذا ما جعل المؤرخين و الرحالة يولون المنطقة عناية كبيرة في كتاباتهم نظير ما قدمته من مساهمات تعتبر إضافة لها وزنها في تاريخ الحضارة العربية الإسلامية.
فبالرغم من أن مدينة الاغواط عرفت عصورا تاريخية متنوعة، إلا أن العصر الإسلامي ترك آثارا عميقة في تاريخ المنطقة و صنع شخصيتها المعاصرة، و ذلك من خلال الآثار التي خلفوها من مساجد و زوايا و أضرحة، و ، و المنتشرة في الاغواط ، و كلها معالم تروي المراحل التاريخية التي مرت بها المنطقة من حروب و صراعات داخلية و لكن بفضل تمسك سكانها بالدين الإسلامي الحنيف، فإن ذلك لم يؤثر على عقيدة السكان و شخصيتهم.
إن أزهى مرحلة مرت بها المنطقة هي الفترة الإسلامية التي تفتخر بها الأغواط، و التي ما زالت بعض معالمها بارزة و شامخة متحدية الإهمال و النسيان رغم ما أصابها من تشوه من جراء العوامل الطبيعية و امتداد يد الإنسان إليها. و لذلك نعتقد بأن الدارس لآثار الاغواط الإسلامية تعترضه عدة مشاكل حول إعادة تصور ما ضاع من تلك الآثار.
إن معالم الاغواط الباقية و التي تعود إلى العهد الإسلامي تبين مدى تقدم فن العمارة و الزخرفة الذي بلغ قمته و الذي طبع المدينة و أعطاها شخصيتها المميزة حتى أن الكثير من الشعراء و المؤرخين و الرحالة قد تغنوا بجمال المدينة و آثارها الرائعة، و لذلك فإن آثار منطقة الاغواط الإسلامية تعتبر إضافة جديدة و مساهمة كبيرة في الحضارة العربية الإسلامية في مجال العمارة و العمران و التي تعكس استمرارية التطور الذي عرفه ذلك العصر ، كما يعكس أيضا روح الأصالة و الإبداع و التجديد في فن العمارة الذي تنطق به آثارهم المتبقية و التي هي شواهد مادية و بصمات واضحة في تاريخ و حضارة المسلمين بالمغرب الأوسط (الجزائر).

The present research attempts to study the religious touristic landmarks that demonstrate the effective rde that the city of laghouat has played in the time spani the density of construction and reconstruction ,and the dignity that the region has in Islam show the extent of its development in the Algerian history and civilization throughout the Islamic ear. The remants of its religious touristic landmarks reflect the development that has seached the field of architecture and urbanization .In fact,this development is theresult of the inhabitants new thought and knowledge in building human civilization. Laghouat has become a cultural center that has flourished many artistic ,architectural and scientific trends and influences in different regions of Algeria.
ALthough the city of Laghout has known various historical ages ,the Islamic ear has left deep traces in the history of the region and the creation of its contemporary character.All the remnants of mosques and shrines left in the city explain the historical stages experienced by the wars and conflicts. However ,thanks to the inhabitants adherence to the true Islamic religion ,it did not affect the faith and personality of the population .
Unquestionably ,it is the Holy Islam that features the most essentiat and momentous period in the history of Laghouat . Moreover ,people have positively reacted against the deformation caused by some natural factors,uniting together to reconstruct what have been destroyed and save those valuable Landmarks .These features are still prominent in Laghouat to defy negligence and forget fulness.Therefore ,the researcher believes that the study of the Islamic landmarks in Laghouat might certainly involve several
problems about contemplating of what was lost of Hose Islamic milestones.
Laghouat 's remaining milestones dating back to the Islamic ear show the considerable progress in architecture and decoration
,giving the city a more distinctive character.Many poet ,historians and travelers have enriched the beauty of the city and its wonderful sites.These Islamic sites ,therefore are new addition and sginificant contribution to the Arab Islamic civilization in the field of architecture ,reflecting the continuity of development that was known by that ear .Furthermore ,Laghout 's Islamic landmarks reflect a sense of originality ,creativity and innovation in the art of architecture.These milestones are prominent remaining traces ; tengible ,concrete ,real evidence in the history and civilization of Moslims in Middle East (Algeria).
