الألفاظ والصيغ الشرعية هي أدوات فهم الخطاب الشرعي المتضمنة خصائصه وميزاته وهي وسيلة الفقيه والعالم والباحث لبيان أحكام الإسلام، لهذا كان الحرص على بيان اللفظ الشرعي، فهما وبحثا ودراسة من الأمور التي يوليها المختصون عنايتهم في العلوم الشرعية، التي قامت على أساس استيعاب المفاهيم الشرعية في الفاظ وصيغ تميزت بالفهم والإتباع. ومن أهمها الفاظ الترجيح الفقهي، التي هي أدوات الفقيه لبيان الرأي الأولى بالأتباع والتطبيق.
