هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة درجة وعي معلمي الجغرافيا لمعايير التنمية المستدامة في الأردن. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (52) معلما ومعلمة من مديرية تربية وتعليم لواء القويسمة في الأردن للعام الدراسي 2014/2015. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة جرى إعداد استبانه، وتكونت من (26) فقرة موزعة على ثلاثة مجالات، وجرى التحقق من صدقها وثباتها. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة بمدى وعي معلمي الجغرافيا بمستوى متوسط، حيث جاءت في المرتبة الأولى المجال الاقتصادي، ثم البيئي، ثم الاجتماعي. وأظهرت عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير المؤهل العلمي في تقديرات معلمي الجغرافيا لدرجة وعيهم بمعايير التنمية المستدامة، وكما أظهرت وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير الخبرة ولصالح معلمي الجغرافيا ذوي الخبرة الحديثة.

The present study aimed to explore the degree of Geography teachers' awareness of the sustainable development in Jordan. The population consisted of (52) male and female teachers from Al-Quwaismeh Directorate of Education in Jordan for the academic year 2014/2015. To achieve the study objectives, a questionnaire, whose validity and stability were validated, was prepared including (26) items distributed into three fields. The findings showed the intermediate level of the teachers' awareness where the economic filed was ranked first, the ecological one was ranked second, while the social field was third. The findings also showed the non-existence of statistically indicative differences attributed to the academic qualification variable of the Geography teachers' degree of awareness of the sustainable development. There were statistically indicative differences attributed to the variable of experiences which were in favor of the Geography teachers with recent experiences.
