هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى درجة تقدير طلبة الجامعات لدورها في علاج التشوهات المعرفية ونشر ثقافة الوسطية والتسامح، والكشف عما إذا كان هناك فروق ذات دلالة احصائيًا عند مستوى (0.05≥α) بين متوسطات درجات تقدير أفراد العينة لهذا الدور تعزى إلى متغيري (الجنس، الكلية). ولتحقيق ذلك اتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، بتطبيق استبانة مكونة من (50) فقرة موزعة على ثلاث مجالات : (علاج التشوهات المعرفية، تعزيز التسامح، نشر ثقافة الوسطية) على عينة عشوائية بسيطة مكونة من (431) من طلبة الجامعات الفلسطينية (الإسلامية، الأزهر، فلسطين). وكان من أهم النتائج:
- الدرجة الكلية لتقدير أفراد العينة لدور الجامعات في علاج التشوهات المعرفية ونشر ثقافة الوسطية والتسامحكانت عند وزن نسبي (68.47%) وهي درجة كبيرة أقرب إلى المتوسطة.حيث جاء مجال (تعزيز التسامح) في المركز الأول بنسبة (71.69%)، يليه المجال الثالث (نشر ثقافة الوسطية) على المركز الثاني بوزن نسبي (70.81%) وأخيراً المجال الاول (علاج التشوهات المعرفية) على المرتبة الأخيرة بوزن نسبي (64.31%).
- لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى (0.05≥α) بين متوسطات درجات تقدير طلبة الجامعات الفلسطينية لدورها في علاج التشوهات المعرفية ونشر ثقافة الوسطية والتسامح تعزى إلى المتغيرات: (الجنس، الكلية)
وفي ضوء النتائج، أوصى الباحث بعقداللقاءات الشبابية على اختلاف أطيافهم الحزبيةفي الجامعة من أجل بناءاستراتيجيةالحوار البناء، وتعزيز الوسطية والتسامح وعلاج بعض التشوهات المعرفية من قبل شخصيات يرتضيها الجميع، وتجنَب التعصب للآراء الذي قد يؤدي إلى الشحناء والعداوة، وتربية الطلبة على ترسيخ مفهوم الحوار ومبادئه وآدابه وفق رؤية إسلامية صحيحة.

The study aimed to identify the degree of estimation university students for their role in the treatment of cognitive distortions and dissemination of moderation and tolerance culture, detecting whether there was indication of a statistical differences at (0.05≥ α) between the mean scores of estimation respondents for this role due to the variables (sex, college). To achieve this, the researcher descriptive and analytical approach, applying a questionnaire consisting of 50 items distributed in three areas: (treatment of cognitive distortions, promote tolerance, the deployment of intermediate culture) of a random sample consisting of (431) Palestinian universities students ( Islamic, Al-Azhar, Palestine).The most important results:
- The total degree to estimate the respondents to the role of universities in the treatment of cognitive distortions and dissemination of moderation and tolerance culture was at a relative weight ( 68.47 % ), a large degree closer to the middle . Where was the field ( promotion of tolerance ) in the first place by ( 71.69 % ) , followed by the third area ( publication of moderation Culture) on the second place with a relative weight ( 70.81 % ), and finally the first field ( the treatment of cognitive distortions ) on the last place with a relative weight ( 64.31 % )
- No statistically significant differences at (0.05≥ α) between the mean scores of estimation Palestinian university students for their role in the treatment of cognitive distortions and dissemination of moderation , tolerance and culture due to the variables ( sex, college)
In light of the results, the researcher recommended to hold meetings youth of different affiliations party at the university to build a constructive dialogue strategy , and promote moderation and tolerance and the treatment of certain cognitive distortions by personalities acceptable to everyone , and avoid intolerance of views which may lead to hatred and hostility , raising the students to establish the concept of dialogue and principles and etiquette in accordance with the Islamic vision correct.
