تناقش هذه الدراسةت أصيل الدراسات البينية في حقول الأدب، ففي هذا النوع من الدراسات حيث تتكامل العلوم والمعارف، وتتعدد وتتداخل غيما بينها ومن يتولد الإبداع والابتكار وتتفجر الطاقات
الدرسات البينية أصبحت اليوم من الآلسيات المهمة في نقل العلوم والمعارف، فضلا عن ذلك فهى تفسح المجال للدارسين لاختيار ما يتلائم مع قدراتهم وميولهم بما تطرحه من برامج متعددة ومتنوعة فضلا عن الخطط والبرامج التي تمكن من تحقيق الطموحات والغايات وتفادي أي تحديات مستقبلية محتملة، وهكذا يستطيع كل دارس التخطيط لمستقبله العلمي والمهني لما تضمه من فكر أكثر شمولية، فضلا عن التقدم في المجال العلمي والمعرفي، وحتى يسيطيع العالم مواكبة عملية التقدم والتطور أصبح الاهتمام بالبرامج الدراسية من سمات العصر، لما تتميز به من تخطيط دقيق لبرامج مؤسسسات التعليم العالي، ومحاولة الارتقاء بهذه البرامج لتواكب المعايير العالمية بل تنافسها؛ حتى تلائم سوق العمل ومتطلباته، فضلا عن الاهتمام بالتنمية وآلياتها.
إذا لقد أصبحت الحاجة ماسة إلى مثل هذا النوع من الدراسات في عصر العولمة،بل أصبحت من الضروريات؛ التي لا يمكن الاستغناء عنها في عصر تداخلت فيه التخصصات لتتكامل.
وقد اقتصرت هذه الدراسة على الدراسات البينية أو التكامل الذي تم بين الأدب وعلم التفسير كذك الدراسات البينية التي تمت بين الأدب وعلم الجغرافيا وبين الأدب وعلم التاريخ
