Layth Sayyid Salman was born April 27, 1984 in Baghdad, Iraq. He did his undergraduate work at University of Technology in Baghdad, Iraq. He received his Bachelor of Science in Building and Construction Management with Honours in 2006. After college he began working for the Beareu office / Contract department, where he worked until he has got a scholarship from the government to study master degree in England. After that he moved to Newcastle Upon Tyne and began work on his Master of Science in Structural Engineering in 2014 with the purpose of combining his interests in Structural design and Finite element Analysis in the context of Advanced Composite Material for wind energy. He has implemented an Analytical homogenization at the macro-scale and in each phase of the composite by using Computer Based Software called ABAQUS.
