إنّ العلاقة القائمة بين اللّغة العربيّة والحاسوب؛ هي نقطة توازن لبناء مجتمع المعرفة، وأهمّ القضايا لتهيئة المجتمعات العربيّة للدّخول في عصر المعلومات من بابه الواسع. ويتأتّى ذلك من خلال تهيئة كفاية لغويّة للحاسوب، أشبه ما تكون بالإنسان حين يستقبل اللّغة ويدركها ويفهمها، ثم يعيد إنتاجها وفق مقتضى الحال. وعلى إثر هذه المعطيات؛ يتنزّل بحثنا بالدّراسة و التّحليل لحدّ العلاقة بين الحاسوب و اللّغة (تنظيرا، وتطبيقا)، ورصدا للمنجز من الأعمال، في إطار المعالجة الآليّة للّغة العربيّة، حاملين نظرة استراتيجيّة في إطار المشاريع ذات العلاقة بالتّنمية اللّغويّة.

The relationship between Arabic and computer is a balancing point
for building the knowledge society and the most important issues
to prepare Arab societies to enter the information age in its broadest
form. This is achieved by creating language proficiency for the
computer, which is more like a human being when he receives, understands,
and reproduces the language as appropriate. As a result
of these data, our research deals with the study and analysis of the
relationship between computer and language (in theory and practice)
and monitoring the achievements of the work in the framework of the
automatic processing of the Arabic language, taking a strategic view
in the framework of projects related to linguistic development.
