In vivo-culture assays of the carob-tree (Ceratonia siliqua L.). At present, the production of carob-tree plantations is encouraged' in Morocco due especially to its economic interest. The results of in vivo-culture assays of the carob-tree (Ceratonia siliqua L.) natural of the Province of Chefchaouen (NW of Morocco) were led and germination percentage, regeneration rate after transplantation and other biometric parameters were assessed in seedlings descended from productive "dkar" and "lanta" types. In spite of the high regeneration-rate particularly in productive "dkar" type, in vivo-cuttings tests of these two types show a difficulty of rooting.
