يهتم هذا البحث ببيان ما ينشره من يدعون أنهم قرآنيون، لا يقيمون للسنة النبوية قدرا، ويزدرونها، لأعذار واهية، ويدافع البحث عن السنة بالقرآن، الذي حثت آيات فيه على التمسك بها والعمل بموجبها، فهي المبينة لكتاب الله تعالى، وقد عد البحث ما يقوم به أولئك النفر عقبة في طريق الإصلاح الذي دعا إليه القرآن الكريم. لذا سماهم البحث بالأريكيين.

This research is concerned with the statement of what is published by those who claim to be Qur'anic, who do not evaluate the Prophet's Sunnah, and despise it, for vain excuses. The search for the Sunnah revolves around the Qur'an, in which verses are urged to adhere to it and act accordingly. These are an obstacle in the way of reform called for by the Holy Quran. So, it called them as the "Arikyen".
